Your welcome email also contains a signed copy of your client agreement. Please save a copy for your reference. Here’s a reminder of the extra important bits:

 

REFUND POLICY:

Either of us may terminate this Agreement for any reason by providing written 7 days calendar notice to the other party.

Due to the nature of our work, we do not provide refunds should you decide to end our project, and termination is subject to a 50% kill-fee of the remaining project balance. We also reserve the right to seek compensation for work completed and not yet paid for.

OWNERSHIP:

Upon final payment of your invoice, you gain full copyright, usage permission and intellectual property rights for any copy delivered by us. We will retain full ownership of our strategy documentation and any templates provided to you.

We may also display branding and copy in our portfolio of work and in our future advertising, educational, marketing and promotional materials for our services.

DELAYS:

If a client deliverable — such as input, approvals, or payment — is late more than 10 business days the project will be considered “on hold.”

Once the deliverable is received and the project is re-activated it will be rescheduled based on our current workload and availability.

To be clear, if a project is placed on hold, it could take weeks to get you back on our schedule.
